Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using REDLIGHT (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). The App is developed and operated by Red Collar (“we,” “us,” or “our”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

Description of Service

REDLIGHT is a photo editing application for iOS that provides filters, procedural textures, templates, and AI-powered editing tools. The App offers both free and subscription-based features.

Free & Paid Features

Free Features (Core)

All filters, procedural textures, and templates are available for free with no time limit, no watermarks, and no feature gating. You also receive 5 free AI edits to try the AI features.

AI Subscription

AI features (AI Enhance, AI Transform, AI Combine) require an active subscription after your free credits are used. Subscription plans:

  • Monthly: $9.99/month — 100 AI credits per billing period
  • Annual: $99.99/year — 100 AI credits per billing period (save 17%)

AI credits (100) refresh every 30 days from your subscription start date, regardless of billing cycle. Unused credits do not roll over.

Subscriptions & Billing

  • All subscriptions are processed through Apple’s App Store and are subject to Apple’s terms and conditions.
  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
  • Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same rate.
  • You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings.
  • No refunds are provided for partial billing periods. Refund requests should be directed to Apple.

Your Content

You retain full ownership of all photos and content you create, edit, or process using the App. We claim no rights to your content.

When you use AI features, your images are temporarily processed by third-party AI services. By using AI features, you grant us a limited, temporary license to transmit your images to our AI provider solely for the purpose of processing your request. This license terminates immediately upon delivery of the processed result.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the App to:

  • Process content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable
  • Generate or distribute non-consensual intimate imagery
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the App
  • Circumvent or manipulate the credit system, subscription verification, or any security measures
  • Use automated systems or bots to access AI features
  • Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the App or its features

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms.

AI Features & Limitations

  • AI features are provided “as is” and results may vary. We do not guarantee specific outcomes from AI processing.
  • AI features depend on third-party services (Google Gemini) and may be temporarily unavailable due to service disruptions outside our control.
  • An AI credit is consumed when a request is submitted, regardless of whether you are satisfied with the result.
  • We reserve the right to modify AI credit allocations, pricing, or AI providers with reasonable notice.

Intellectual Property

The App, including its filters, textures, templates, Metal shaders, UI design, and branding, is the intellectual property of Red Collar. All rights are reserved.

“REDLIGHT” and the Red Collar name and logo are trademarks of Red Collar. You may not use our trademarks without prior written permission.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. You use the App at your own risk.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RED COLLAR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) will survive.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes through the App or on this page. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the State of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Pennsylvania.
